Maynor Service Company | Finish the Job. Make It Right. Take Pride In It.
Maynor Service Company is looking for an Electrical Punch-List Technician / Helper to join our team and help bring new construction projects across the finish line.
A building can be fully wired and powered, but still not be ready for the homeowner, customer, or final inspection. That's where you come in.
As an Electrical Punch-List Technician / Helper, you'll work during the final phase of new construction to turn a newly installed electrical system into a safe, functional, inspection-ready space.
If you have an eye for detail, take pride in your work, and enjoy seeing a project go from rough-in to finished product, this could be the opportunity you've been looking for.
You'll help complete the electrical finish work throughout the project, including:
Installing switches, receptacles, dimmers, and wall plates
Installing and assembling decorative light fixtures, ceiling fans, and customer-selected lighting
Installing smoke detectors, carbon monoxide detectors, and related devices
Installing GFCI and AFCI devices as required
Assisting with panel labeling and final electrical system organization
Installing and programming smart home devices, controls, and lighting systems as directed
Ensuring all devices, fixtures, and equipment are level, secure, clean, and professionally installed
We're looking for someone who takes pride in doing things right.
The ideal candidate is:
Minimum 3 years of electrical experience
Valid state-issued Driver's License with a minimum of 3 years of driving experience
Knowledge of residential or light commercial electrical rough-in, trim-out, and service work
Willing to be on call once every 4 weeks
Dependable and shows up ready to work
Detail-oriented and takes pride in craftsmanship
Comfortable using electrical hand tools, testing equipment, and power tools
Able to follow directions and work safely around energized systems
Willing to learn from experienced electricians
Able to identify problems and communicate them to the team
Organized and respectful of the job site
A team player with a positive attitude
Committed to leaving every job better than you found it
