Residential Comfort Adviser
Job Description

Position Summary

The Residential Comfort Adviser is responsible for generating and closing residential replacement sales opportunities for HVAC, Plumbing, and Electrical systems and services. This customer-focused sales professional meets with homeowners to evaluate their needs, recommend solutions, prepare proposals, and secure sales while delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Meet with homeowners to evaluate HVAC, plumbing, and electrical replacement needs.
• Inspect existing systems and identify replacement, upgrade, repair, and enhancement opportunities.
• Present customized solutions and prepare proposals.
• Educate customers regarding efficiencies, warranties, maintenance plans, and financing options.
• Achieve sales and revenue goals while maintaining high customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate with installation and operations teams.
• Maintain CRM records and sales documentation.

HVAC Sales
• Recommend replacement systems, IAQ products, zoning, and related comfort solutions.

Plumbing Sales
• Sell water heaters, tankless systems, water treatment products, repipes, sewer and water line replacements, and fixture upgrades.

Electrical Sales
• Sell panel upgrades, generators, EV chargers, surge protection, lighting upgrades, and electrical system improvements.

Qualifications

Required: High School Diploma or GED; valid driver license; minimum two years of sales or customer-facing experience. Preferred: In-home sales experience and HVAC, plumbing, or electrical industry knowledge.
